This is another angle on the Great Commission which we looked at in Matthew 28.
It highlights the Great Condition for fulfilling the Great Commission: The power of the Holy Spirit.
It also highlights the Great Progression of the Great Commission: Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, the ends of the earth.
That progression is actually an outline of the book of Acts, a map of how the Gospel spread.
But it’s also a great plan for us today.
Jerusalem: Start where you are with people you already know.
Judea: Reach out to those who are like you and nearby.
Samaria: Reach out to those who are nearby but unlike you.
Ends of the Earth: Share the gospel in the power of the Spirit wherever you go.
